To the Decom Attendees and Burner Community,

We cannot thank you enough for all you bring to LA Decompression. This year was by far the best year yet and they keep getting better. Thank you for all your hard work and great positive energy. Thank you to all the wonderful performers who graced our stages. You brought the house down. Thank you to the stage managers and organizers for creating a welcoming and artistic platform for those to perform on. To all the Theme Camps and Art Installations, thank you, thank you, and thank you for bringing your creativity and hard work to the park. You helped to create the look of Burning Man in our beautiful new location. A giant shout out goes to all the Black Rock Rangers. Wow, you stepped up in a very difficult way and helped maintain a very positive experience for all (more on that further down).  To all the volunteers, we could not have done this event without you. It truly takes a village to raise this child called Decom.  And to the core planning committee who worked tirelessly in organizing all the little details into one FANTABULOUS event. And lastly, thank you to everyone who attended Decom and contributed to the positive energy by having the time of your life. May each day be more fabulous then the last.

What did you love?  What did you not love?  What can we do better for you?  We want to know!!!!!!

This was our first year at this brand new location and it presented us with a whole slew of new challenges.  We want next year to be even better!

One thing we would like everyone to know.  Before you complain about law enforcement, know that we hear you.  But also know, they are here to protect all of us.  They were not at the festival in the beginning nearly as much.  They trusted us and our crowd and did their best to not infringe on anyone's good time.  But, there were some incidences around sundown that made them reconsider and were forced to send out more units to monitor the crowd.  If it were not for some people who could not be trusted with there own safety, we would not have had to pay as whole.

With that said, we must realize is it our responsibility to teach each and every one of the attendees of our gatherings what is acceptable and responsible in our community.  We must treat our mini-playa experience like the playa itself.  We must watch our friends and their intake.  We must correct the person showering the location with moop.  We must all wear the hats of mini-Rangers if we wish our celebrations to continue.

Once again, the majority of you were simply amazing and we can not thank you enough.

Thank you for one of the best Decoms L.A. has ever seen.  We have already received tons of feedback and it seems you all loved the new location.  We knew you would!

To all the artists, camps, musicians, sound technicians, set builders, fire folk, teachers, gift givers and the uncategorizable, you are simply amazing.
